Now Dig This, Inc
. is a non-profit organization that seeks to nurture and preserve  an appreciation of the arts in today's youth, especially Black American Music, also known as Jazz and increase the presence of this art form in our community .  Research shows that there is a direct correlation between academic student achievement and their involvement in music. Research also shows that communities with thriving arts programs increase pride in its residents and builds a stronger sense of community in neighborhoods. Exposure to concepts and the historical significance of Black American Music through performance and lecture supports education overall, assists in increasing student academics and will enhance arts education in our community.

Our mission is to provide music education and enrichment through a variety of school and community-based programs. These programs include: workshops, summer camps, and live performances. Through
them we foster better students, better communities, better lives.
